Join photojournalist Ashley Gilbertson, author of the new book Bedrooms of the Fallen, for a presentation of photographs from his book and discussion on the impact of war at home. Admission is free with paid entry to Newseum.
Bedrooms of the Fallen features a collection of photographs depicting the intact bedrooms of service members who died in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some of the photographs were originally published in a New York Times Magazine feature, for which Gilbertson won the National Magazine Award for documentary photography.
Gilbertson will be signing copies of the book following the program.
